Ok I should explain everything first xD For those who aren't in SIngapore, there's this thing called the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF for short) that's held every 2 years. Basically performing arts ccas (me is in angklung btw :D) perform for this panel of judges, and then we get our results. Last time it was Gold with honours, Gold, Silver, Bronze. Now they changed it to Distinction, Accomplishment, Commendation. AND SO. AS YOU CAN SEE. DISTINCTION IS LE BEST. AND WE GOT DISTINCTION YAY IM HAPPY MINNA BE HAPPY FOR ME I WANNA  FLY :"""DDDD

So you know, for a long time my seniors have been getting gold (some with honours maybe) and stuff. If we broke the chain this year we would be sad ˚^˚ BUT WE DIDNT HOHOHO I FEEL GOOD

Anyway my performance was actually yesterday :P It was scary omg D: But the stage and backstage was cool :O Especially the backstage ITS SO COOL I WANNA LIVE THERE.

Lol the other schools all had sparkly costumes ._. mine isn't sparkly lol its like silky material? so it...shines? :P My teacher in charge tied a french braid for all of us. Oh gawds it was sooo tight D: We were all scared of getting our hair tied by her Hahaha xD But it turned out quite nice I think :D And our makeup was done by my teacher's daughter and her friend. THE MAKEUP WAS FANCYY

Actuallyy you know at first after we finished our performance I was quite scared D: Cos from where I was standing the first song we played didnt sound so good._. But my vice-chairperson said it was good so yay. Apparently the judges thought so too I guess? :DDD

LAWSON

LAWSON CAME TO MY SCHOOL YESTERDAY

Do you guys know who Lawson is? I actually asked a few people around and some of them didn't know._. Well they're this band from the UK that's actually quite popular I think, and they came to Singapore yay :D

Lol at first I thought it was a joke that they were coming -_-
Cos when I heard the news, it was on Monday, aka April Fools Day. (HAHAHA MY BATCH STUFFED BALLOONS UNDER MY FRENS BDAE CAKE AND SHE SCREAMED WHEN SHE CUT THE CAKE AND THEY BURST HAHAHA But that's a story for another day^^) Then my friend told me that my geography teacher got all excited over Lawson on Twitter and emailed my school principal about Lawson coming already xD Imagine if it was fake she would be so dead :P

Anyway today also happened to be an assessment day at my school. I had a geography, history and higher chinese paper. OH GAWDS IT WAS JUST ASDFGHJKL
So meeting Lawson after those horrors was nice I guess :D (Instead of going home and starting on projects ugh)

Hot 91.3 FM was actually the one who organised the whole Lawson thing :D My fave radio channel YAYAY
The DJs from 91.3fm were there :O IT WAS COOL MAN. COOL.
And the camera guy sat next to me. Lol. Then he moved away after he said hi to us students around him :P

So Lawson cammeee yayyyy we screamed (or the others did I don't normally scream xD) YOU KNOW. MY FRIEND. GOT CHOSEN TO BE CLOTHED BY LAWSON. AND HUGGED. AHHHHHH (theyclothed her in random accessories lol it was quite funny xD)
And those who got picked up from the crowd all got to hug them MAO
Lawson is so tall omg D: I bet I would''ve looked like some dwaf or something next to them :P And the shortest guy, Adam, was 162/3cm. Which is still like 10cm taller than me.

They played games. And answered questions. One of us (actually 2 I think) asked 2 of the Lawson members to marry them. And one of them got a picture with him >:O /seethes
Another girl asked them to show their abs. So the DJ counted to 3, and they were supposed to lift their shirts together (i think the one who did this was Boy Thunder? Hehe) So all of us ran forward with out phones to take pix (myself included, twas a rare and interesting opportunity.

Le me's day :D

Hi minna :D
Tis another post on le me's day~
YAYYYY
OK anyway this week is my school's learning journey or LJ week, which means we basically go out on excursions/watch movies that like are related to our learning and stuff like that everyday until friday :D
Soooo today was our History LJ.
Blah blah the history of SIngapore. It was mainly on World War 2 actually, and we visited like this museum and some other places.

So in the museum which was our first stop, we watched a vid with Elizabeth Choy (search her up if you dont know her hehe) giving an interview about her experience as a prisoner of war. Basically it was horrible omg I never wanna have to go through all that >< And there was another vid...that was pretty sad too :( This woman called Sophie had to give up one of her two children...and...gah><

After that, we looked for like two trees outside the museum, the Changi trees or something. Lol yes we went tree hunting -_- Not really actually our guide just told us where they were lolol. I think its the Sindora wallichii and the Hopea sangal. FANCY NAMESS
I think the Sindora right was actually some national heritage marker, but they had to fell it during the war cos i was too tall and planes could like use it as a marker for bombing ._. Only after they felled it, did they realise there was this story behind the tree, that as long as the Changi tree stood, Singapore would not fall.
...Whoops._.

heehee then we went to Changi Boardwalk. Omg the most memorable thing happened HAHAHA
My friend's phone dropped through the wooden planks of the boardwalk, onto the ground beneath.
And they couldnt get it out for some time ._.
Haha most epic moment xD In the end she got it out so good for her :) It wouldve been so sad if she didnt get it >< But yay she did hehe

Skip to a few hours later i was back in school, and me and my frens went to support our school's netball team playing for 3rd/4th place against another school. The match was actually fun to watch hehe the netballers were so pro omg :O THEIR ACCURACYYYY :OOOO
If it were me I'd probably be this fumbling idiot on the court. Which is why I'm not in netball :D

THEN WE WENT TO EAT AT SOGURTTTT its a frozen yogurt shop hehe :D
I LOVE BURSTS <3 THEY BURST I YOUR MOUTH LIKE BUBBLES HEHEHEHEHE :D
I actually got a mini brain freeze at some point of time lolol maybe I ate the frozen yoghurt too fast ._. HAHA DID I  TELL YOU GUYS NO I DIDNT LAST TIME MY FREN MANAGED TO BITE OFF A WHOLE HALF OF A STICK ICE CREAM. AND THE FREEZING ENSUED. HAHA IT WAS DAMN FUNNY XD

Yah...after all that I walked home. Anti climax much :P
But it was a nice day hehe

lol yeah. And suddenly these other people turn around to listen to their conversation, and one of them says
Le person 3 : "NOOO IT'S SUPERMANNN(or some other random flying object/person.)"

And everyone goes:

anyway, I was wondering.
Those two people who first thought the random flying object was a bird or plane.
Why in the name of mamachickens did they even get excited for yo.
Who would honestly see a bird/plane while walking on the street one day and start a fuss.-. And end up discovering a new random flying object or something.
I pity Superman for getting confused with a bird or plane xD
If the bird landed somewhere near me I would chase it away and end up looking like a retard :D
If the plane landed near me for one I'll be deaf (Have you ever seriously just stood next to a plane? THEY HAVE LOUD ENGINES OMG) and I probably won't run away fast enough to avoid getting squished. And the girl who was killed by a plane would end up being on the news -_- Oh wow fame at last.
Lol maybe movie makers should be more creative.

Ok after like seeing my sis watch winx club (-_-) for some time, I have decided to rant about my feelings here :D
OMG
WHY IS EVERYTHING IN WINX LIKE ENDING WITH X???
Like winx, magix, trix, enchantix, sirenix just to name a few things in there -_- (i realised this sometime ago and did some research. lol. Thus my point is further proven.)
Why not have more... non x-ish names -_- Like seriously yo._. I bet even the characters if they were real would get bored of having to always say these x-ish things -_- MUUX (haha.)
AND. Ya know how they "transform" into their naise little fairy versions? IT TAKES FOREVER FOR THEM TO TRANSFORM OMG LOL. For the fun of it I watched all of the winx transform, it took like damn long for all ofthem to finish doing weird poses in midair and transforming. -_- Ever think how the enemy could've like simply attacked them while they were busy smiling and posing? Lol. Baka enemies xD
THEIR OUTFITS ARE SO SPARKLY OMG LOL THEY REMIND ME OF EDDIE CULLEN XD (no offense to le edward fangirls, i think sparkly glitter is naise :D Lol.) BUT THEIR OUTFITS SPARKLE SO MUCH  I CANT STAND IT GAH.
Their hair grows unnaturally long yo ._. Well except Tecna's hers is like short. But it's pink -_- Then again this is a magical universe we're talking about where all things come in weird colours and sparkles :D
And holy cow. Why do the winx like always win? D: Like come on their attacks are totally lame and like take forever to actually travel to their opponent -_- While the opponents just freeze there doing who knows what with their expressions like this: D:< or like this O:< or this O: or this ):< well you get my point they  just freeze there. Come on bad guys can't you guys like move? MOVE, SONIDO OR SHUNPO OR BODY FLICKER   (first two from bleach, bleach, last one from naruto :D) Maybe there's some spell you can use? Holy cow. -_-
I find them a bit mary-sue ish ._. Most ppl like them (except the bad guys lol), they most usually win, they are apparently pretty or smth I guess? They have oh so wonderful personalities, and "good body figures" ?? (Honestly I think all of them look anorexic or smth yo ._. I mean who has waists like that?? Srsly._.) Like yeah lol. muu.

hehe I don't have anything better to do right now... SO I DECIDED TO BLOG. MUAHAHA.
We live in the time period where vampires are said to sparkle in sunlight, mistake animal blood for vegetables, and fall in love with normal high school girls. YES PEOPLE THAT IS SOO RIGHT-_-
Vampires are supposed to be unholy undead peeps who enjoy human blood like i love ice cream ( <3 ) And people are meant to fear them, not fangirl over them. (no offense to the fangirls though ._.)
Now, as we know or may not know, there are a number of ways to ward them off or kill them etc.
1. GARLICC >D
onestly I have no idea how vamps fearing garlic came about. Maybe due to the fact that they smell bad...? And if you refer to le twilight (haha twilight.) vamps are supposed to have heightened senses or something...so a whiff of garlic might just be enough to make them fear you MUAHAHA >D though that's just my random theory lol. Le me did some research and came across vampire's and mosquitoes' similarity in that they both suck blood, and since garlic is supposed to be some mosquito repellant or something maybe that's why it's a vamp repellant too :D
WEEHEEHEE GARLIC.
2. LE SUNLIGHT.
AHAHA VAMPS ARE AFRAID OF LE SUN XD Maybe that's why their ski is so pale lol. They never go out into le sun.
/remembers the fact that my own skin is actually quite fair too.
but i went swimming a lot last time and I'm still not getting tannn D:
MAYBE I'M A VAMP TOO HOHO >D I mean the last time i bit my lip and accidentally drew blood, it didn't taste so bad...>D

So yeah well originally vamps are supposed to like melt or burn in sunlight? Something like that yeah. BUT as I mentioned above, Stephanie Meyer-san decided to think up more creative ways for vamps to react to sunlight, aka making edward cullen and co. sparkly in le sun. LIKE GLITTERRRR~~
3. Holy water and Crosses?
Hmm. Well I suppose it might work. hoho i'm a Christian weeeeee~~
Then again in the school arc of Kuroshituji manga Sebastian was wearing a cross... and somehow not being burnt through his clothes...? Meh but Sebastian ish a demon not a vampire so maybe theres a difference~

Anyway as you probably know, (oh come on theres no way you wouldn't know this) stuff last time was suckish to some of us, now we think the stuff now awesome and it'll probably be on a whole new level of awesomeness in the future.
IMAGINE~~
Flying cars, flying skateboards, robot servants, digital screens floating on air, awesomer versions of iPhones, Apple products, a new electronics brand called Pineapple, And our generation sitting at home crying inside while watching our grandkids/ great grandkids enjoy the things we didn't get to play with when we were young. D:
Compare from ye olden days when Queen Elizabeth's puffy dresses - that I have no idea how women those days could wear every day - were the fashion trends that women followed like all the time. Now you wear a dress like those and people's gonna stare and take a gazillion pics of you._. JEANS AND T-SHIRTS FOREVA <3
Maybe next time the fashion statement is gonna be shiny silver spandex suits. You realise how with each age the clothes people normally wear are like more revealing in a way? I mean compare that puffy dress or a tux to shorts and t-shirts. Yeah. Maybe next time they'll wear...never mind._.
AND OH GAWSH THE TV FROM LAST TIME. THAT IS NOT A TV I SAY THAT IS BUT A PATHETIC BOX WITH MOVING PICTURES. Ok so my Grandpa in Jakarta has one in his old house...but at least he uses modernised TVs now :D (though I do have one friend who uses tiny old boxes....-_-)
And last time they danced ballroom dances and waltz and stuff (oh gawd my ballroom dance module at school T.T) I actually find stuff like that when done by pros quite nice I guess, but I prefer hiphop <3 I wonder wat sort of dancing there'll be next time...There might be a new dance style :D Then the youngsters then might think of hiphop, breakdancing etc as old -_-
Me shall tell you a story~
Once upon a time several times I rode in my dad's car and changed the radio channel to HOT.fm but he didn't like the music and changed it to another channel I forgot -.- Maybe rock music is gonna be in next time? Or maybe kids will start liking classical xD
Haha imagine if next time we'll have like these chairs that bring us everywhere (like the ones in WALL-E :D) nice life lol lazing around all day. But then we'll grow fat D: NUU.
Last time science wasn't so advanced I guess. Now there's more stuff to learn...T^T AND NEXT TIME THERE SHALL BE MORE MUAHAHAHAHA GOOD LUCK KIDS.
Omg maybe there'll be MMORPGs like SAO. OMG I WANT TO PLAY THAT AND MAYBE I'LL GET STUCK INSIDE FOR TWO YEARS AND HAVE AN AWESOME TIME TRYING NOT TO DIE. But really if there will be one that'll be so cool I'll play it with my grandkids all day. :D

I HAVE RECENTLY STARTED LEARNING CHEMISTRY.

So I took a look at the periodic table and ohmyfreak all those elements I CANT REMEMBERRRRR AHHHHHHHH T^T

ohoho last time when my dad told me e didn't take chemistry I always thought it was because he was afraid he would mix the wrong chemicals together and his hair would explode xD

WEEEEE my teacher gave us some lab apparatus to draw out and name and state its functions and i forgot all man._. I FREAKING FORGOT WHAT A BEAKER WAS GAH.

but seriously dude those atoms are like tiny how on  earth did those people manage to discover electrons neutrons and protons inside the atom yo ITS JUST INSANEEEE

And the fact that more parts = more things for us poor students to study... T^T

First week of school T.T

Hi minna!
School has started.. Sadly. NUUUUU D:
Soooo I just had my first week of school. Guess what they didn't count this week as week one per usual, they counted it as week zero probably cos we started on wednesday. ARGH ASDFGHJKL.
Wednesday:
Le first day :D So I just went to my new classroom (I MISS MY OLD ONE WHAA) and my form teacher this year turned out to be my form teacher from last year. And I was so hoping for a new one... T.T Not that she's bad or anything but well you sorta get bored, ya know? Plus she knows all of us already. Not fun man not fun.
I had a speech and drama lesson :D Well mostly speech but still :3 We had to like say tongue twisters and I was like T.T

Thursday:
Nice day yo the only lesson we had was aesthetics and then study block aka awesome free time.
We had our dance and music module for aesthetics.

We.
Had.
To.
Sing.
...
I do not sing people. I don't.
Not that singing is bad nono of course not it's naise...when you actually can sing. I'm not much of a singer ><|||
Dancing was ok though (me likes danceee~) We learnt part of a Latin American Jive routine that we're gonna be assessed on later in the year. hehe i had the same partner (You know who you are, Cow.)
Oh yeah then there was CCA orientation for the secondary ones this year (hehehe i'm secondary two now :D) And my CCA, Angklung, our booth was at this corner and i was like T.T I stayed beyond my shift to see the sec ones xD I FOUND A JUNIOR FROM MY CLASS LAST YEAR 106 AND I GOT ALL EXCITED AND I THINK I MAY HAVE FREAKED HER OUT BUT SHE WAS SO CUTE. xD

Friday:
Today.
I was supposed to have a Chemistry test (yeah thanks a test on the third day of school on something my class hasn't even learned yet.) But then it turned out to be an oral test, and I found out later when I came home that the oral test was actually already carried out (probably while the teacher rambled on and I was somewhere near dreamland) AND I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE. Now what did I spend all that time studying for huh huh huh D<
Andd I found out theres gonna be an individual math ORAL assessment later in the year. Like whutttt D< It's not like we're ever gonna be in a place where we have to recite verbal math solutions- oh wait. yeah, at my school. T.T

Well here I am :D
TOMORROW'S SATURDAYYYY YAYYYYY ANDDDD I have angklung practice in the morning. TT^TT /excitement drains away
oh well.
